Surfacing solutions for Europe's busiest exhibition venue

Rio Group has provided Birmingham's NEC with surfacing solutions for over twenty years, and was delighted to help deliver its most recent improvement: a major project to remodel the main entrance areas.

Further work is now underway, on the east side of the building adjacent to the Concert Hall and Crowne Plaza Hotel, together with the main road to the Metropole Hotel, to plane off worn surfacing in 9,000 square

metres of road, before replacing with machine laid 10mm stone mastic asphalt. 3,000 square metres of car park surfacing will also be replaced at the same time. On completion all road markings will be replaced and reinstated as required.

Rio Group is responsible for ensuring the continued flow of traffic and easy access through all affected areas, allowing business as usual at Europe's busiest exhibition venue.
