Rio Surfacing has been a part of an ongoing, annually reviewed contract with the NEC Group since 2004. The specification for these works was a planned maintenance contract for major resurfacing works throughout the NEC site.
Due to exhibitions taking place at the NEC centre throughout the duration of the works, the safety and well being of the general public was paramount and therefore the works had to be carried out within a highly rigorous health and safety environment. Rio Surfacing were able to overcome these restrictions and maintained full access to all areas at all times through careful planning of traffic management.
